Red Nose Day Football (2009)
On Friday 13th March (Red Nose Day) The-River organised a Charity Football Match with a difference – The men had to dress as women, and the women had to wear red sportswear. There were 34 players in total, and some of the outfits were - well – you can see for yourself. The referee (the man dressed as a cow-girl) tells us the score was 12-11 to the boys, but the boys still dispute it!! A fantastic time was had by all. Below are some photos below to prove it.
Special thanks go to all of the players, all of the Spectators, and to the 442 Sports and Social Club for allowing us to use the Sports Hall for free on the night. We raised just under £1000 altogether – Well Done Everyone.
